I was excited to hear back from a past business acquaintance on Sunday late afternoon during a big snowstorm in our area. I had left him a voicemail message earlier in the week. I was able to share what I was working on with him, and he seemed intrigued and asked a few questions, too. I didn't have my chatter boxing "script" cheat sheet on hand, so I winged it. ( Thank goodness I've practiced it!) I asked if he would be interested in learning how the program would go and what the investment would be. He agreed, so I explained the mission and focus of my program, and the future self-vision for the enrollees. He then asked what I was planning to charge for the program, and I remembered to give him 2 options, the two-payment option and the discounted rate for one-time full payment. He said that he didn't think that it was for him as the focus wasn't an area he struggled with, but that he might be able to send a couple others he thought I could help my way and asked if he could give them my number. Since he already said why it wasn't for him, I didn't ask what would make it a yes, however I did ask that if he would send me a paying client or two, would he be open to auditing the program at no cost to give me his insights and feedback. And, surprisingly to me, he agreed!

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
Although getting a "No" wasn't a paying success, it was pretty exciting to see that the giver of the "No" seemed to see that my offer has value and did not react negatively to the investment.
