I have pioneered corporate parental leave strategies and coaching programmes for over 20 years in some of the world's leading organisations. I wanted a way to make my knowledge available to HR leaders online so they can really engage and put it to use, while also delivering bespoke 1:1 consultancy. I signed up for the EPM programme even though the timing was tricky - I was very busy delivering paid work to tight deadlines and the 12-week programme ran across the festive season which is such a precious family time for us. The money back guarantee encouraged me and although I have struggled as I expected to fit in all the modules, there's no way I'd be asking for any money back since my experience is that the LYM team really goes out of their way to over-deliver on value. The coaching pods with live weekly hands-on guidance are just one of the ways it goes beyond simply being an online course. My coach, Mel, brought such dedication and energy to nudging participants forward with their ideas and development. I've now fleshed out my programme in a well thought through way that puts the client and their experience right at the heart of it.
What's been the biggest change in your business?
The ever-present nudges have kept me thinking about developing my programme, not only delivering the work right in front of me.
How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
It's brought more clarity on my specific offer.
What's your biggest takeaway from EPM?
I have some scepticism about the cheerleading feel of some gamification with constant rewards and celebrations, and I can see a real need for care over how it might work for my corporate HR audience. That said, EPM has given me real pause for thought to recognise that, one way or another, I need to do something to engage and support my clients with online material and it does not have to feel cheap and superficial. It is about acknowledging progress and helping people follow-through on their goals and get value from their investment. I've always been deeply committed to providing value, going above and beyond, and I can see that paying attention to helping participants stay engaged is crucial to that.
What's now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I can offer clients a more structured journey through the knowledge and experience I know they need access to.
