I was struggling to translate what I knew I was good at into a clear, compelling experience and to confidently talk with people to gather real input instead of guessing. I felt stuck between wanting to expand into a new audience and feeling unsure about what I actually wanted to build next.

I joined EPM, and that’s where I learned how to design an experience intentionally, starting with listening. I gained a much deeper understanding of the design process and, more importantly, how to have meaningful conversations that surface what people truly need and value.

I slowed down, stepped back, and reflected. I used the MVP process to test, gather feedback, and reset instead of forcing a rushed launch. Through that process, I recalibrated my focus toward senior leaders in the nonprofit space who value learning, depth, and community.

I ended up with far more clarity, confidence, and alignment. I’m building an experience rooted in what I love to do, how I work best, and what my people actually need, and I trust the direction I’m moving in.

What's been the biggest change in your business?
The biggest change is clarity. I’m no longer trying to stretch myself into an audience or offer that doesn’t fully fit. I now have a clear focus on senior nonprofit leaders who welcome learning and community and a much stronger foundation for designing experiences that truly serve them. I will move to serve small to medium size local business owners as I build relationships with them.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
EPM gave me permission to slow down and be thoughtful without losing momentum. It helped me trust reflection as part of progress, not a detour. I feel more grounded, more aligned, and more confident in how I’m shaping this next chapter of my work.

What's your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Experience matters. People remember how they feel. Tech is useful, but connection, communication, and care are what actually create impact. Designing with the human experience at the center changes everything. I've known this and EPM reinforced it. Designing great experiences requires work and intentionality. I value integrity. I want to be known as a leadership coach and entrepreneur who models it. Marissa's approach and care is refreshing.

What's now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I’m now able to create spaces where leaders feel supported, seen, and connected—while engaging in meaningful learning together. I’m building something that reflects my values, deepens community, and allows my work to have lasting impact rather than just transactional outcomes.
