"I was enthusiastic to begin EPM. I have wanted to embark on a journey to coach others to heal from trauma through the power of love, acceptance and forgiveness. I struggled with imposter syndrome. The insecurity I felt about my lack of professional credentials was overwhelming.
My personal background is filled with examples of rising and healing after trauma, abuse, neglect and self destructive choices. I feared it was not enough to inspire others to entrust their healing journeys to me. I
I settled right out of the gate by beginning my EPM as a safe college admission counseling program based on nearly a decade of professional experience providing young people just that. A career I previously enjoyed but was no longer passionate about. Each step toward my EPM felt like drudgery. Eventually, I gave up.
I became avoidant of emails from EPM. I missed coaching calls with Marissa and Coach Mel. I was so ambivalent about how I wanted to proceed.
In the end, I switched to an EPM Coaching parents of kids exposed to trauma to love and accept their children unconditionally to bring about healing. Once I switched topics, I started at the beginning again.completing every milestone in record time. Words and ideas flowed freely. I utilized Ainsley Ai,which I previously believed to be a complex system beyond my understanding, to support me with finding fluid ways to organize my thoughts and ideas.
I invested money in a new certification credential offered by an author I have idolized for years. I begin being mentors by him this week. Attaining this credential will ensure I no longer suffer from imposter syndrome because I know he is one of the foremost experts on providing trauma responsive care to children from difficult backgrounds.
