"“I was struggling at first because i was originally going to do a more career based course. Base don my 44year career, supervising the drilling and engineering of onshore/offshore complex oil wells. All over the world for many of the worlds oil companies. Where i was coerced into training in 1998 and ended up developing more than 120course and running these in more than 40 countries. Without any training the trainer help, aide or support. In 2018 i wrote the book 'Deepwater drilling' essentially as a training manual. Resourcing a very good editor to make this happen. I was a practioner not a author.
Anyway into week three of the program. I realised i wanted to change my tack and sail off in a different direction. So changed to something i am very passionate about, i.e. table tennis. A sport i entered into very late i.e., in my 50's. To progress from playing at a church, joining a team, working my way up the divisions. Where i am now a top 10 premier league player, and have played for the Scottish veterans national team several times in my age group. To prove age is just a number. I play a lot with seniors and like myself what i see confronts them is 'how to improve. Another motivator is the fact that 350,000,000 people play table tennis. Where to keep this story short. Simply creating a more purposeful, gamified table tennis course that fly's off the shelf to be accessed by a huge audience, Could potentially assist me in my dream to have enough finance to open a table tennis academy in my home town. That would be the first in Scotland that could really open the doors for all age groups people who are able and not so able. To have somewhere to enjoy this wonderful game.
So i changed my program to Table Tennis Improvers, where i am just feeling tat i am starting to tap into learning and discovery offered by Xperiencify. My mind has certainly been opened up with better ways to do thigs. Where the whole process has not yet fully sunk in. Is being fully applied (as there is just so much to take in its actually been quite overwhelming). Because i have other things in life to get on with. Five grandkids, time difference for sessions, a oil company wanting support to drill a $110,000,000 well next year and course has been running during the table tennis season. So its all been quite challenging. I am not perhaps where i should be or where others are at. But i have graduated and am making progress to get first few some on line presence (a website up and running). To offer a free beginners hook to get customers interested. Also to run some improver sessions as a 'beta test' by 7-9th March. With people signed up for a real course to start when competitive 'table tennis season ends late March early April "
